Fire Management for Fire Departments and Agencies

Such a program would give you an effective option for those times when initial attack will fail. We can ensure that all people inside your fire jurisdiction can be converted into fire resources rather than simply be a bigger part of the growing interface problem.
We promise you, if we come to your area, there will be lights going on in the minds and techniques of your entire program. for sure! It is a land manager's responsibility, but the fire department can be the encouragers, the helpers and the trainers for success.
You must perceive that all areas in wildland fuels will eventually be burned over by a super strong wildfire event. Traditional methods are only effective on low and medium intensity events. Don't be the fire department that has no option other than evacuation and failure to be effective. We'll make you effective when flames are 200 feet in length and spotting faster than can be communicated.
Do not come up with the story, "We lost 500 homes, but there were thousands that did not burn - therefore we saved those." If you lose one home to a wildfire, that is proof there is no fire management going on in your fire jurisdiction! It is easy to mitigate and save homes from wildfire - and do it safely. But it must be a part of pre-work and pre-training by interface dwellers and fire managers working together. This is an entirely different set of skills from different fire suppression types working together.
Insurance companies would be wise to eliminate the risk to wildfires. County building departments would be smart to require a method to mitigate wildfires for all new building permits.

Fire Management for Interface Dwellers
The above diagram gives a quick overview of our landscape positioning concept. There are three circular control lines around the critical site you want to protect from a strong wildfire storm.
For $200 we will take your plot map and aerial photo (obtained at your county tax collector's office) and custom-build a plan that will work for you. Then we will go into the details on how to convert the vegetation and apply the right ignition patterns to allow you to systematically and confidently burn off the ground between the three rings - safely and securely. In effect, you instantly convert your park-like setting into "A SAFETY HARBOR AREA" using your wits and fire as a tool to survival.
The idea is to give you space devoid of light fuels, so the power of the fire storm cannot carry up to and destroy your home. We'll hand-carry you through the training and skills needed to command your turf and manipulate the power past you, your family and your home.
If you would prefer not to do the physical conversion, we'll come and do it for you. If you would like to play the role of a coordinator in your community, we could best be used to put on a community-wide class for fellow homeowners and your local fire department. We'll come anywhere. This is a good bake sale-type project or a pass-the-hat thing for our fee and expenses.
